Sustainable Permaculture – Build It in Fall and Enjoy a Weed Free, Self Fertilizing, Till Free Garden
To have a system in place to provide a weed free, self-fertilizing, till free garden sounds good to me. A method of gardening to do that is a sustainable permaculture bed. One way to develop them is in the fall, which is the best time to do this, set up you beds and use lots of mulch. Why Fall? It gives the winter season for that mulch to break down providing their benefits to your garden bed.
